Chocolate Granola

Ingredients for 1 batch(es):

  • 500 grams rolled oats
  • 45 grams cocoa powder
  • 7.2 grams salt
  • 70 grams brown sugar
  • 155 grams chocolate chips
  • 85 grams coconut oil
  • 138 grams honey
  • 16 grams vanilla

Instructions:

  1. Mix oats, cocoa powder, salt, brown sugar, and chocolate chips in a large bowl. Set this dry mixture aside.

  2. Whisk coconut oil, honey, and vanilla in a separate medium bowl until well combined.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients, stirring thoroughly to ensure an even coating.

  4. Transfer the granola mixture onto a large, greased cookie sheet. Spread it out gently to form a thin, oval-shaped layer, resembling a donut with a hole in the middle.

  5. Bake at 300°F (about 150°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown. Be careful to avoid over-browning.

  6. Allow the granola to cool completely on the sheet before handling to ensure it clumps together properly.

This recipe makes roughly 6 - 7 cups of granola.
