Chocolate Granola
Ingredients for 1 batch(es):
- 500 grams rolled oats
- 45 grams cocoa powder
- 7.2 grams salt
- 70 grams brown sugar
- 155 grams chocolate chips
- 85 grams coconut oil
- 138 grams honey
- 16 grams vanilla
Instructions:
Mix oats, cocoa powder, salt, brown sugar, and chocolate chips in a large bowl. Set this dry mixture aside.
Whisk coconut oil, honey, and vanilla in a separate medium bowl until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients, stirring thoroughly to ensure an even coating.
Transfer the granola mixture onto a large, greased cookie sheet. Spread it out gently to form a thin, oval-shaped layer, resembling a donut with a hole in the middle.
Bake at 300°F (about 150°C) for 15-18 minutes, or until the granola is golden brown. Be careful to avoid over-browning.
Allow the granola to cool completely on the sheet before handling to ensure it clumps together properly.
This recipe makes roughly 6 - 7 cups of granola.
