French Bread

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 0.3 count of french bread loaf
  • 28 grams of unsalted butter
  • 3.5 grams of minced garlic
  • 0.2 grams of red pepper flakes
  • 0.3 grams of salt
  • 0.8 grams of fresh rosemary
  • 10 grams of shredded parmesan
  • 12 grams of shredded mozzarella

Instructions:

  1. Place the butter in a bowl to soften. Once it's soft, stir in minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and salt.

  2. Slice the French bread lengthwise into halves. Place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.

  3. Evenly spread the butter mixture over the cut side of each bread half.

  4. Finely chop the rosemary. Sprinkle it evenly over the buttered bread.

  5. Preheat your oven to a low broil setting. Once it's hot, broil the bread until it turns lightly golden brown. Remove the bread from the oven but keep the oven on.

  6. Distribute the parmesan and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the bread. Return the bread to the oven and broil until the cheese is bubbly. Then, take the bread out of the oven.

  7. Let the bread rest for 5 minutes. After resting, slice it into your preferred portions.
