Garden Salsa

Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 9 grams of lime juice
  • 1.2 grams of garlic cloves
  • 5.5 grams of serrano peppers
  • 1.7 grams of salt
  • 4 grams of cilantro (chopped)
  • 20 grams of white onion (chopped)
  • 160 grams Roma tomatoes (coarsely chopped)

Cantina style thin tortilla chips (as needed for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Puree Ingredients: In a blender, combine the lime juice, garlic cloves, serrano peppers, and salt. Puree these ingredients until smooth.

  2. Add Cilantro and Onion: Chop the cilantro and white onion. Add the chopped cilantro and white onion to the blender with the pureed mixture. Use the "pulse" function on the blender a few times until mixed.

  3. Add Roma Tomatoes: Add the chopped Roma tomatoes to the blender. Pulse until you reach your desired consistency, without overblending into a puree.

  4. Serve: Serve with cantina-style thin tortilla chips.
