Mashed Cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • 240 grams of cauliflower
  • 70 grams of unsalted butter
  • 2 grams of salt
  • 6 grams of parmesan

Instructions:

  1. Begin by removing the core and leaves from the cauliflower, keeping only the florets and tender parts.

  2. Place the cauliflower florets into a large pot and cover with water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to maintain a steady simmer. Cook the cauliflower for about 25-30 minutes, or until it's very tender.

  3. Drain the cauliflower thoroughly in a colander, removing as much water as possible.

  4. Return the drained cauliflower to the pot and set it over low heat. Stir occasionally, allowing any remaining moisture to evaporate for a few minutes, making sure the cauliflower doesn't brown.

  5. Add the specified amounts of unsalted butter, salt, and parmesan cheese to the pot with the cauliflower.

  6. Use an electric mixer to whip the cauliflower mixture until smooth and creamy.

  7. Serve the mashed cauliflower.
