Italian: Spaghetti & Meatballs
Instructions:
Start by simmering your Red Sauce. Refer to the Sauces section for the best red sauce recipe you have ever tried.
Make sure to stir the Red Sauce occasionally. Use a thick pot or a dutch oven.
While the sauce simmers, prepare the Meatballs as outlined in the Party recipes section. This ensures your Meatballs are ready to cook once the sauce has developed its flavors.
Once formed, refrigerate the raw meatballs. Allow the red sauce to simmer for approximately 3 hours to enhance its flavor. Afterward, cook the meatballs in a pan over medium heat until they reach a medium-well doneness.
Integrate the cooked meatballs into the simmering red sauce, allowing them to absorb the rich flavors.
Boil a large pot of water for the pasta. Once boiling, cook the pasta until it's al dente, then strain and rinse under cool water to halt the cooking process.
After straining and rinsing the pasta, return the noodles to the main pot. Immediately mix in a small amount of the red sauce to prevent the noodles from sticking together. When ready to serve, portion the noodles into individual servings, sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheese as desired, and then generously ladle the meatball-infused red sauce over each serving.
