Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 220 grams of brown potatoes (peeled)
- 40 grams of unsalted butter
- 13 grams of whole milk
- 1.6 grams of salt
- 7 grams of minced garlic (Optional)
Instructions:
See Sauces sheet for a brown or white gravy recipe for a great addition to these potatoes.
Peel potatoes and add them to a large pot. Fill the pot with water and heat to a boil. Then boil for about 25 minutes or until done. Then strain the water and return the potatoes to the pot after drained.
Add the unsalted butter to the hot potatoes and allow it to mostly melt for easy mixing. Then add the whole milk and salt. Whip the potatoes on high until mixed well and fluffy.
Note:
If you prefer garlic potatoes, add the garlic to this recipe.
